christmas wouldn’t have been complete without a few bird themed presents! this divine little bottle opener found his way into my stocking (thanks to the husband for mentioning it to father christmas). he is just adorable and will no doubt get plenty of action over the years!
my first home made christmas present, beautifully modelled by the husband! i designed this for my barebecue obsessed brother in law alex who also has a soft spot for robins so i hope he doesn’t think it’s too girly… i’m looking forward to being cooked some feasts by him in 2012!
when we move into the new house i’m going to have to seriously restrain myself from buying an excessive number of cushions! this one is adorable - perhaps i can persuade the husband on the grounds it would look great on a bench in the garden so wouldn’t technically be in the house…

the husband is rather partial to his coffee so we already have an excellent selection of vessels from which he can get his caffeine hit. even so, i’ll just have to see if i can persuade him to add these adorable ones to the collection…

jingle bells, jingle bells! just completed my first christmas craft project which is this sweet little robin garland to adorn the fireplace over the festive season. the shiny bells give them an added touch as they sparkle in the candle light and jingle musically if you give them a tickle!
tweet tweet! i’m always forgetting where i’ve left things, so what better way to make sure you never lose your back door key than attaching it to this gorgeous little number? he will keep your keys safe and look pretty on the wall too. perfect!

if you have been reading this blog you may have noticed a small obsession with dickie birds! there are so many gorgeous bird decorations you can buy i thought i would share some of my favourites. the little tin birds stole my heart to such an extent that we sourced 150 to use as place names/ wedding favours when we got married last year. it has been lovely popping over to friends’ houses since and spotting them hanging off kitchen cupboards and adorning christmas trees!

just completed my first order for a lavender stuffed letter ‘e’, hope it is up to scratch! threw in a little birdie to say thank you for being my first commission. plan to sell them on etsy very soon, so watch this space…
look after the birdies this winter at the same time as brightening up the garden or a window with this gorgeous heart shaped feast. they will be very grateful for the food and you can watch them tucking in!
