currently trying to decide what colour to paint our loft room which is a hybrid sewing room, home cinema and yoga studio! these excellent brightly coloured cases are just the thing to liven it up and provide some useful storage for all those bits and bobs that need tidying away.
definitely didn’t order blue eggs on purpose, but ocado has delivered some beauties. i wonder whether they taste as good as they look?!

hands down winner for snuggling up on our new sofa! definitely one for the birthday list… really loving all of emily bond’s beautiful prints and these cushions are such fun.
one of the highlights of the new house is the fantastic hydrangea by the front door, not least because it seems to have blue, pink and purple flowers all at the same time. i’m so excited about having a ready supply of beautiful blooms for arrangements all through the summer. might just have to go and buy some new vases now…
not sure we have a big enough garden (or bank balance) to support this purchase and not sure what i would put in it either, apart from a massive jug of pimms! still quite tempted though by the adorable colour and design…
first batch of reversible ipad cases complete! now i just need to set up my etsy shop… sounds like a bank holiday weekend job to me!
looking forward to spending the afternoon making a few ipad covers with this fabric. might even get my first items up for sale on etsy! watch this space…
i don’t exactly need a picnic rug, but if i did this would definitley be the one i’d go for… loving the seaguls and summery blue colour!

maybe when we (finally) move i should get this pigeon print to remind me of pilkington. although having said that we’re only going around the corner so he’ll probably find us! he brazenly brought a date to the ‘all you can eat buffet’ this morning and in their excitement they managed to knock the whole seed tray off the window ledge. i’m clearly going to have to find a pigeon proof feeder!

some fabulous fabrics on the john lewis website giving me inspiration for the new house. particularly love the wellies - not quite sure what i would do with it though! suggestions welcome…
my grandmother was totally obsessed with hippos so it was very clever of my aunt to find this gorgeous hippo incence holder for my christmas present. he looks extremely handsome on my shelf and makes me smile whenever i look at him.
looking forward to my next sewing project with these pretty vintage feel fabrics. i wonder what they will turn into…

and here is my first attempt at making a greeting card! quite pleased with the result and i’ll definitely be finding more uses for the gorgeous letter beads which i picked up in paperchase.
