i’ve been day dreaming recently about getting a pashley bicycle for gliding around tootingshire on.  if (when) i do, i am going to have to treat myself to this little beauty from etsy…  perfect for those summer afternoons when you pop over to see a friend and want to take a little something to share in the sunshine!  inspired!

i’m always on the look out for lovely bird prints, and this really caught my eye. i love the simplicity and putty colour - plus the fact that it’s called ‘fling of sandpipers’. a new collective noun to add to the vocabulary!

alas no puppy for christmas this year, but the husband totally excelled himself by finding little derek the door stop to keep me company while he is away during the week.  i’m not sure if it was by design or accident, but the colour scheme perfectly complements our existing cushions and he is an extremely stylish addition to the sitting room!

i’m on the look out for a new grater as our current one is very old and awkward to use meaning i usually end up with grated cheese scattered all over the kitchen floor. both these have a fantastic ergonomic design and as well as containers to collect whatever you’re grating. i think my preference is actually for the gary rhodes number with the ceramic base, although both are very stylish.

nobody likes drying up when it’s so much more fun playing with the bubbles and splashing water everywhere in the sink! with this brilliant draining rack you can just stack the dishes up and leave them to look pretty while they dry by themselves!

when we move into the new house i’m going to have to seriously restrain myself from buying an excessive number of cushions! this one is adorable - perhaps i can persuade the husband on the grounds it would look great on a bench in the garden so wouldn’t technically be in the house…

i just adore these amazing ceramic pears. they would look so stylish perched on a bookshelf or a mantlepiece and the bonus is you get to enjoy them for years and years, unlike a normal pear which is usually only ripe for about 15 seconds!

dear father christmas, i have an idea for a present share this year. why don’t you get this for rudolph to make his life a little easier pulling you round on christmas eve and then when he’s done with it perhaps you could pop it in my stocking? i promise i’ll leave you a generous glass of sherry and a mince pie or two as payment.
