i’ve been trying to track one of these down for a while and now the white company has started stocking these great picture shelves. Good for small rooms where there isn’t space for a big bookshelf and also handy for indecisive people like me as you can move your pictures around as often as you like!
i could spend hours on the anthropologie website. today i am dreaming about serving up some scrumptious feasts for friends and serving them in dishes like these. love all the muted colours and soft shapes.
got home last night to a surprise present from the husband, and he completely excelled himself! This gorgeous handmade sign looks fab in the snug and marks a very special date when we finally got the keys to our house. gorgeous design and beautifully made, I thoroughly recommend the etsy shop…

i’m always on the look out for lovely bird prints, and this really caught my eye. i love the simplicity and putty colour - plus the fact that it’s called ‘fling of sandpipers’. a new collective noun to add to the vocabulary!

the husband has a worryingly large collection of books for reading in the loo, so perhaps this plumbing inspired book shelf will be just the ticket for keeping them tidy in the new house!

this is so going on my christmas list! it may be even more expensive than the mulberry purse that has been lingering on said list for a while, but a girl can live in hope! it would be so fabulous over the bed when we move into the new house…
